Where Transgender Youth Thrive
Quarks (跨青時刻) is the first and only registered organization in Hong Kong led by and targeting transgender and gender-diverse youth. We are dedicated to connecting local transgender youth, and empowering them to thrive and realize their full potential. We strive to promote our visibility to the general public, and collaborate with various sectors to build a society with diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Initially founded as a small, humble WhatsApp chat between friends, Quarks has since grown to become an official registered society with over 200 members and 10 subgroups. As Quarks continues to grow, we hope you will join us in fostering and improving our inclusive community for all.

Quarks is currently administrated by an executive committee of four members with equal voting power on most decisions. We also recruit both internal and external volunteers for help on an as-needed basis.
